 Alzheimer’s SA was the beneficiary for the Forget Me Not Woman2Woman Charity Breakfast hosted at Elkanah House on Saturday, 12 June! Always well attended, the ladies enjoyed the morning thoroughly – our famous local artist and author, Ann Gadd (we love EWE!), enlightened us on dream interpretation, Betty George from The Affinity Group delved into Hypnotherapy and Neuro Linguistic programming, and Jill Robson, Head of Alzheimer’s SA, Cape Town, shared personal and amusing experiences about this prevalent disease, that had us all questioning just how bad our memories are!!

Alzheimer's SA was founded in 1985 and is a non-profit organisation managed by a national executive council. It is the only organisation in South Africa recognised by Alzheimer's Disease International (ADI) and is dedicated to improving the quality of life of people with dementia and those affected by it - providing support, education, training and up-to-date, scientifically-sound information on matters pertaining to dementia. Their vision is a country that is aware and accepting of people with dementia, and that provides adequate services to them, their families and other carers.
